I had hernia surgery yesterday, so I'll be off work for a couple of weeks. How this will affect my blogging, I don't know. On one hand, I should have more free time. On the other hand, sitting up hurts. On the other other hand, generic Vicodin is only about $6 for 32 pills, can you believe that?
Oh, Yes, Kick Me In The Gut Again, Please

Sounds like the perfect opportunity to learn all about go! :-)
Hope you have a quick recovery, we need ya good by the end of April!
That was a major consideration in the scheduling. I should be skating again by the time they pull the turf off at the Plex.
Ouch. I guess this is going to effect your entry in this year's World's Strongest Man competition?
I really thought this would be the year you'd own the Swedes. Damn.
(But seriously Chris, get better quickly!)
Cheers,
Dave
Make sure you get enough vicodin for everyone, please. :)
At just over $2/dozen, that wouldn't be a problem, except that I'm only allowed one refill...
Besides, Brett Favre has already called dibs on any extras.
mmmmmmmmmmmmm, Vicodin.
I had Pneumonia during the 2000 election "whatever"...I sat in bed, high as a kite eating crushed ice with vanilla syrup and watched news 24/7 happy as a clam :)
Ahhh...the memories......
You're not supposed to try to lift ALL of the project's documentation by yourself. I cannot imagine that it has gotten any smaller than I remember it being.
btw, general geek tradition would have "the other other hand" called "the gripping hand" (from 'The Mote in God's Eye' by Niven & Pournelle).
I think the project documentation today, on CD, weighs more than the project documentation when you left, on paper.
And of course it would be 'gripping hand,' if I were speaking Geek. Unfortunately, I was speaking Severely Medicated.
