Familiarity Breeds Monotony

Or at least that's what it feels like to beat the same team four times in a season. Oh, how the worm has turned. Ohio Valley used to pwn the Freedom, winning four of the first five times they played. Of course, with the screwy UIF playoff situation (8 of the 11 teams make the playoffs), the Freedom may have to beat the Greyhounds five times this season. Photos below the fold.

Roughly the same level as af2, give or take. The players get paid $200 per game, $225 if they win. And the league has 11 teams stretching from Wheeling, WV to Black Hills, SD, and from Sioux Falls, SD, to Tupelo, MS. http://www.unitedindoorfootball.com

And after three years of trying (sitting in the 'bullseye seats' behind the goalposts), I finally caught a ball at Sunday's game.

Had to throw some vicious elbows, and I'm pretty sure I gave the old guy next to me another heart attack, but, hey, if you're sitting in the bullseye seats you should be ready for that.
