I have a kite like that! I got it for the grandson. We ran 5000 freaking miles and it would not stay up. I'm jealous. Perhaps I need an ocean .....

The kite-flyers up and down the island were the beneficiaries of an almost-constant 20kt wind. There was even one guy who anchored one to the top of his beach umbrella and left it there, flying unattended over a hundred feet up...
